According to Gartner reports dominance of iPad can last for 2016. Experts assume that Apple tablets will reach and keep 46 % of the market.
This rate will be considerably lower than last year’s rate – 73,4 % and before last year’s rate – 83 %. It depends on appearance of similar by their functional devices of other producers. But even at such decrease Apple is predicted inevitable growth and development.
Besides by 2016 according to Gartner reports the quantity of tablets in users’ hands will reach 655 million units.
“Tablets” on Windows which are waited this year will occupy their niche and win about 12 % of the common market. According to Gartner analysts they can’t figure on best results.
This year sales of tablets on Android should reach 31,9 %. According to the consumers survey the most central failure of “Android tablets” is either absence of necessary applications or their insufficient functional.
For 2011 worldwide 60 million of tablet computers were sold. According to The Daily Telegraph this year the quantity can reach 118.9 million. Growth twice as much (+98 %) is more than a positive indicator of the market development.
