Apple loves the JBL Company, offers many of its products in the online and retail stores, no less resellers are fond of it. Practically in every single store with the “apple” technique you can find something from JBL. What is the reason for such popularity? The technology of the company costs a lot in comparison to competitive decisions after all. It is not afraid to carry out experiments, to create its own speakers for “tests” and achieves excellent sound quality even from very small loudspeaker system. The hero of this news is not small, and contains not only several powerful speakers inside, but some useful addition. We are talking about such a product as JBL OnBeat Xtreme for iPad, which is actually an increased version of the JBL OnBeat.
Despite the orientation on the Apple tablet, the gadget works fine with other iGadgets, starting with the iPod nano 2G and ending with different models of iPhone. The second pleasant bonus is that the seat for iPad is easily spinning with one hand: you can use the gadget in portrait and landscape page orientation. Third, I would call it “mega bonus” – is the build-in Bluetooth, we should talk more about it.
There are a lot of applications for Bluetooth in the device, although there is only one function of this adaptor board – to receive the sound wirelessly. Actually, thanks to it audio can be transmitted to the loudspeaker system from practically any music gadget with the appropriate module. No Bluetooth is not the problem! Connect the device via 3.5 mm wire audio jack. Furthermore, you can safely remove the iPad and iPhone from the iPod docking and continue to play or watch a video, and JBL OnBeat Xtreme will provide a voice of action, using Bluetooth – it is convenient.
The USB-cable connects to the device to synchronize iGadget with PC without disconnecting from the loudspeaker system, which also recharges them. Although, in view of the Wi-Fi synchronization in iOS 5 appearance, this functionality is no longer up-to-date as before, but it’s better when there is an opportunity, than when it is not.
There are also an amplifier with a capacity of 4×30 W and four acoustic radiators: two JBL Ridge twitters and a pair of wide range JBL Atlas speaker inside the musical docking stations. The range of the reproducing frequencies fall inside the limits of 20 to 20,000 Hz, and a build-in microphone allows you to use the accessory as Bluetooth- speakerphone. The weight of this novelty with a compact remote control as a set is 4 kg. The estimated cost of JBL OnBeat Xtreme is in the range of $500 and accessory will hit the market in the next few weeks (in some regions it is already on sale).
