Passions for iPhone of new generation have faded, and it’s quite a long time till new release. Apple TV is discussed a bit more actively, but also just as rumours from unverified sources. The boldest speculations are expressed concerning the forthcoming launch of iPad 3, which is expected already in spring 2012. Bold so much, that everybody wonders, who could hit upon the idea of a new tablet, which will be thicker than iPad 2.
Editors of Japanese resource Macotakara are sure that the thickness of the third iPad will be increased in comparison with the second generation. They do not tell the reasons of such vandalism from the side of Apple. But we can easily make objections to them, referring to the best practices of Sharp company. As it was reported earlier, they deal with developing of dislpay IGZO, which, due to refusal from double LED-backlighting will allow to make a new gadget still thinner. And, generally, where have you seen new Apple devices, with the case thicker than their predecessors?
