Here’s How You Know if your MAC has a Virus

Getting a virus is never fun and you’ll find that they always come at the worst possible time. If you want to make sure that your computer is running to its best possible efficiency or if you want to give your computer a boost then there are a couple of things that you can do about this, but the first thing that needs to be done is a virus check. After all, if it is a virus that is slowing your computer down then you’ll need to remove this before you try and speed up your system.

Macros
When you update your operating system, it is very common for your WiFi to vanish. This could be a virus and if you aren’t sure if it is or not then one thing that you can do is turn off your WiFi and then turn it back on again. If this happens to work then you may want to change your password so you can try and prevent any further attacks. You can also chat with your internet provider to see how much data you have been using. If you can’t connect on your MAC then try and connect through your phone to see if it’s your MAC or your computer.

Signal Issues
One other way for you to work out what’s going on is to use an analyser app. This will be installed on your system and it will find out if you have any WiFi coming into your MAC system. Viruses have the uncanny ability to reduce or eliminate your WiFi and this can cause you serious problems. Some apps can even tell you if there is a problem with your internet or not as well, so it is well worth checking. Internet issues or slow internet pages are often the result of a computer virus. If you don’t know much about your MAC system then it’s recommended you read a quality guide so you can get up to speed.

Clean your Desktop
There are plenty of applications out there that can clean up your MAC for you- and this is ideal if you are having problems with the amount of memory that you have left. Of course, when you use an app to clear up your computer you can find out what programs you have installed and this is ideal if you have had some programs installed over time that you were not aware of. A clean-up program gives you the chance to eliminate all of these programs without having to go through them one by one. On top of this, some programs cannot be uninstalled through standard methods and this is because the virus has embedded itself in the system and eliminated this option. A clean-up program can help you to remove the bad program either way, while also giving you the chance to speed up your system by removing the things that you just don’t need.

So there are plenty of ways for you to find out if your MAC has a virus or if it is just slow, and by following the above tips, you can be sure to speed up your MAC so it’s faster than ever before.
